AmenitiesThe rural setting of Simple Comforts provides you with some much-needed peace and quiet. The house and lawn provide places to relax and regroup as you remove yourself from your usual obligations. Fields and wooded areas are viewed from the hilltop location of the house and screened porch. Garden spots provide a quiet place to rest or read, and an evening bonfire can be the prelude to star gazing. Homemade meals are selected by your coordinator before your arrival. They are then prepared and served at your convenience. Vegetarian alternatives and special dietary needs can be met, with advance notice. Snacks are included in the daily rate. Relax and enjoy being served---no KP! There is central air conditioning throughout the house. All bed and bath linens are supplied for you. Daily housekeeping for common areas and bathrooms is also provided; it is available at your request for the bedrooms. TV, VCR/DVD player, CD players, and a flip chart easel are available for your use. Information on local sites and events is available at your request, and connect to the website links. |

Policies
At your arrival, procedures to handle medical, weather, and other emergencies are reviewed with the members of your group.
For health and liability reasons, groups are restricted from preparing their own meals. However, meals and ample snacks are prepared and served according to your schedule.
No pets, please.
Only outdoor smoking is allowed.
